WHO I AM…

Born in 1981, south of Gothenburg. I spent most of my teens and twenties racing sailboats on oceans all over the world. This resulted in two olympic campaigns (Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008), with one bronze medal, one World champion title, multiple European championship wins among other medals and achievements.

After years of traveling, competing and developing, I decided to move my focus on to something that had interested me for long time, Interior and Furniture design.

So with a trained eye for shapes from my previous career I decided take it on. I studied cabinetmaking for two years at Hantverk & Design, Nääs Fabriker and then Furnituriture design at Carl Malmsten Furniture Studies, University of Linköping in Stockholm.

When my studies were complete, I moved to where I now live, in the northern part of Sweden, specifically, Åre, Jämtland.

With the background I have, my curiosity for natural materials and joining, I have a strong belief that the choice of materials, clever construction and efficient manufacturing will result in long-lasting objects and interiors that stand up to the tests of time and external influences.

I believe that human demand and sustainable manufacturing can co-exist if the idea of sustainability is in there from the start.
